Entire March month will be over when Electrofocus’12 ends.
How many more months left in this semester? Hardly two, and namely April and May.
Well, what am I doing in MIT? I am learning electronics. Am I, really?
Let me check, if I am learning Electronics. Let me ask my friend whether he is learning.
Me: Dude, Do you know what electronics is? What are Electronic Devices?
Friend: Electronics is something which is about semiconductors. Electrical is about conductors. Electronic devices are devices constructed using semiconductors.
Me: what are resistor, capacitor and inductor?
Friend: I do know, V=IR, C=q/V and ……..
Me: okay. That’s it, we are learning electronics.
Is that what we call learning electronics?
Who invented Transistor? When was it invented? How was it invented?
Who is Ohm, who is Weber, who is Tesla, who is Hertz? Who is Faraday?
Did you know what Edison write to Roosevelt during World war II?
What is a resistor? How is it manufactured? What are the technologies behind it?
What is a capacitor? Can it withstand if I apply 1000V?
What is an inductor? Can I make 1000H inductance?
Diode, can I use my Si diode at 400°C to rectify negative voltages?
What will happen to silicon at 1400°C?
Electronics is not something that one can understand in four nights (3assesment+1semester)?
It is more than 60years old. Don’t regret later, do it right at the first time, love Electronics and you should know what to do if you love someone.
நான்,
உன்னை போல் ஒருவன்.
